Special Collections

While I have been working on scanning and digitalizing our photos and documents I have also been taking a class on Digital Libraries and learned a great deal about the value and usefulness for digitalizing our materials. A member of this class wrote a paper on Special Collections which I believe has a number a very important ideas in how digitalizing collections can help provide greater access to the public.
